Department of Dentistry

About Department

The department of dentistry provides outpatient services, emergency services to casualty, and on call services to various patients of allied departments. This department caters services to around 30 to 40 patients with oral and oral health related problems daily. The department runs the special counseling services to patients with tobacco and tobacco related habits. The department also provides the screening of Oral Precancer and cancer, awareness, counselling and registry.

Objectives:-

  1. To provide quality outpatient oral health care service.

  2. To provide best education in the field of dentistry for undergraduates and postgraduates students.

  3. To provide training, research opportunities in the field of oral health care of national health mission.
