About Department

The Department of Dermatology of provides outpatient and inpatient services for the fuil spectrum dermatology diseases with a wide variety of amenities. This department caters to around 100- 150 patients with skin related problems daily. Also, the department caters to emergencies 24X7X365 days. The spectrum of dermatological diseases is broad, various groups of diseases demand specialized attention. Hence, the department runs the special clinics during OPD hours catering to the needs of these diverse group of patients, viz hair, psoriasis, acne etc.

Objectives

To provide quality outpatient/ inpatient skin care service To provide best education in the field of Dermatology for Undergraduates and Postgraduates To provide training, research opportunities in the field of dermatology Implementation of national health programs

FACILITIES

department caters to the needs of outdoor patients daily (Monday to Saturday) from 9:00 AM.to 1:00 pm

The following facilities are available for patients:

1. Treatment of all kind of skin diseases
2. Treatment of diseases of hair and nail
3. Treatment of Sexually transmitted diseases
4. Treatment of leprosy
5. Treatment of Vitiligo, Psoriasis, Eczemas

LASER treatment

SURAKSHA CLINIC

1. These clinics serve the purpose of controlling the gonorrhea, syphilis, pandemics such as HiV, herpes, chlamydia, genital warts etc.
2. person is given counselling by the counselors in the clinics where the general details of name, educational nullification, occupation, address, contact no., reason of doubt of infection etc. are noted down which are kept confidential and are used as statics for further research and development purpose.
